Josh looks forward to bringing the Macomb area a fresh take on Asian cuisine

Joshua was born and raised in Macomb Michigan, graduating from Anchor Bay High School. Directly out of high school Joshua quickly moved into the culinary program at the Art Institutes of Michigan. Several years passed and Joshua came to be the Sous Chef at Prime & Proper Detroit. Josh felt as if he had been stuck in the steakhouse world for too long, while never having the opportunity to cook the food he is truly passionate about at a professional level. So it came time to dive right in and bring his vision of a unique noodle bar into reality. Where would be a better place to start such a project than his hometown of Macomb Michigan? A place where corporate chain restaurants are a dime a dozen he decided to bring something truly unique to the area.

Curtis Townsend

He cannot wait to bring what he has learned and tasted throughout his many years of kitchen experience to the area.

Curtis is the former executive chef of Red Crown in Grosse Pointe and Townhouse Bistro in Birmingham. Curtis was born and raised in Michigan, and have a great love of cooking and creating all forms of cuisine. Curtis has always believed in using local ingredients at the peak of their season to create unexpected and pleasant dishes, while using classic and new age techniques.
